I have a 15'2 thoroughbred/paint cross, and he has a very very small chest but I don't really know what will fit him. Answers please?? Thx soooooo much!

Best Answer: Hi - I'm not sure if I have the information you need, but for what it's worth... I originally ordered the cob size (because the loaner I'm using now is a cob, but it's a different brand), but am exchanging it for the full (which I haven't received yet). My horse is a 16'3" TB, and the cob was WAY too small. If you want, I can let you know how it goes with the full when it comes?

what is the difference between cob and full? I have a Lippizan X he is 15.3 with big chest.
CAROL G on Jul 1, 2015
Best Answer: You will definitely need a full. A cob fits a smaller horse like an Arabian or even a large pony.

Does anyone have any information on the sizing of this product? I know German martingales tend to run big. I am looking for a small horse (14.3 dainty Arab). I am assuming Cob will work, but wondering if cob will be too big and I should get pony size?
Lara L on Oct 8, 2013
Best Answer: Hi - I also have arabians. you definately want the cob and not the pony - the horses I am using them on is a 14.3 hand mare and 15. hand gelding - to be honest I would preferr it if they were a bit larger but the cob properly adjusted works well. Hope this helps you ...Happy Trails:-)
