how strong is this blanket from rips?
kiirkiir on Jan 29, 2015
Best Answer: These are definitely made for horses that are hard on their blankets. My boy is notorious for ripping his on fences and rough horse play out in the field. This is the only blanket that survived him all last season and so far we are halfway through the second and no rips. I also love how high the neck cover comes up and STAYS put. Unlike other brands that shimmy down the neck, this stays where it should. Hope this helps ??

tracy t on Dec 21, 2014
Best Answer: I got a 75 and this horse is 15 1 or 2 and between 1000 and 1200 pounds It is fine after i adjusted the straps and comes down in the back to really cover him good and the thing doesn't fly up over his back when his butt is to the wind we have terrific wind here maybe this will help you decide for your guy

Is the hood attached?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2014
Best Answer: Yes. It's a nice fit. It's slightly iridescent which I didn't expect but it really keeps water out and the horse warm. We have dropped to -8 lately.
