Shock Absorbing Cross Tie

This special poly material actually absorbs tension when your horse pulls or panics. Strong braided 5/8" poly rope. The first 2' is the bungee cord section which acts as a "shock absorber" whenever your horse makes sudden movements or reactions.
 
60" length with heavy brass bull snap on one end and a heavy panic snap on the other.

Never trusted these again! They are solidly built, but the slingshot effect is dangerous for horse & rider. February 8, 2012

Rated 1 out of 5 by no way these are fine until a horse gets in trouble and pulls... if you release at the halter, it sling-shots the snap at the rider. if you release at the wall, it sling-shots at the horse. mine are in the landfill. October 25, 2010

When a horse pulls and panics, there is no way to release without endangering either the human or horse: if released from the wall, the tie and snap 'sling shot' at the horse and everything in between. Obviously, it isn't safe to get close enough to release from the halter. September 3, 2010
