Product Reviews by Customers

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Price= Quality This was the first Dressage saddle I have ever bought. The saddle is very comfortable on my 5 year old QH/Arab mare. But when I ride my 23 year old mare, it makes me tip back, and I can't find my balance. The girth fits one horse and not the other :( The reins and bit were great, but the overall bridle was horrible. It took forever to loosen or tighten. The stirrups and stirrup leathers are perfect. I got a lousy saddle pad with mine. it's comfy but it makes my 5 year old sweat badly. I'm going to have to buy a new girth and some saddle pads. But would I reccomend this? It depends on what you are looking for. The price is what the quality is! Don't expect a 1,000 saddle! Over all, it was an okay buy. April 3, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bad seat in this saddle I mainly bought this set because I am breaking in two horses and I figure it will be good enough for that - which it probably is. Meanwhile I also put it on my warmblood and I have to say that this saddle gives any rider a horrible seat, it is leaning back way too much which can't feel good for the horse. I bought an 18" one and I am sitting at the very far back and so is my daughter who is 12 and has a much smaller behind. The deepest point definitely is not where it should be (if there is one). The girth they shipped me maybe will fit a Clydesdale but not my warmbloods and the stirrup pads almost fall out of the stirrups, way too loose. I do like the bridle. Would I recommend it, not really, it will still serve a good porpuse for lungeing my young ones, you get what you pay for I guess. It's cheap altogether, I didn't espect a $1000 saddle. Rated 1 out of 5 by Rode in it once, never again. My mom bought me this saddle because I was going to equestrian college and needed my own tack. I tried it once. I felt tipped forward, and couldn't get my balance, no matter what. As I was dismounting, the stirrup bar snapped open, my stirrup came off, and I landed on my tailbone. I never did go to equestrian college because I fractured a vertebra in my lumbar spine. For the price, it's fine. My mom is not well-off, and she wanted to make me happy. Of course it's not top-quality leather. Of course the girth didn't fit. And if I ever see stirrup bars like these again, I am running in the opposite direction. July 16, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by ok I got this saddle for christmas and it looks nothing like the one on the website. the leather is not supple and the knee rolls are flat.comes with everything including 5'' snaffle bit. great for the price though December 27, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good product with exceptions I like the saddle but I did not recieve everything when I ordered it. I did not get the stirrup pads, and I also got a cheap fleece pad instead of the quited cottn pad. I also think they should allow us to pick a girth size instead of sending a 26" that is too small. It is a good starter set. It is good quallity. The saddle is very comfortable. I just wish I had gotten everything. October 19, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Saddle for the price I bought this saddle for my daughter. She has used it for lessons all summer, and it is a great begginer saddle. Keep in mind that you are paying only 200 for the whole set. The quality is good for the price, the only thing that you can not pick your size on everything. We got an oversize bridle, we own a small arab and she really needed a cob, other than that it is a great starter set. I give it my mom aproval, for price and quality at this price level. Rated 5 out of 5 by Sweet chickin saddle!! This is a TIGHT saddle! Lasted for 18 years just cuz i took good care of it! August 10, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by I LOVE IT! Like i said on the last comment, the saddle is great, the girth not so much... When i said the bridle is ok i hadnt tried it on my horse yet. I absolutly love the bridle! I fits my arab cross great and is nicley made. My saddle is now the best saddle i have ever ridden in now that i have it broken in. The girth is actually ok but it was big for my arab so i had to punch holes in the saddle to make it fit right. I give this entire set 5 stars:) August 3, 2010

Do you think the 17" would fit a medium wide tree horse?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2014
Best Answer: 17" is for your size. The tree is your horse's size. I have a medium wide tree and I adjust with different pads for different horses. I find my medium wide easily fits most horses so it all depends on if you fit a 17"

Will this fit a half draft horse?
Danielle A on Sep 2, 2013
Best Answer: I would guess maybe yes. My daughters warm blood cross large pony wears a 46" wide girth and the saddle fits well. If the horse has a really broad back or is overweight the saddle may be too narrow.

OK, so I have a horse that is a medium and she is 14.30 hands. What size would be best? I need new tack real soon because hers is old and worn out!
A shopper on Mar 29, 2015
Best Answer: Seat size is for the rider, not the horse. Please visit our sister company for additional saddle fitting information.

What sized girth will I receive? Are there color choices for the quilted cotton pad?
A shopper on Jan 8, 2015
Best Answer: Accessories styles and sizes may vary. The only item that may be chosen is the seat size.
