I have been using these reins for almost a year now and they are great!I took off the braided reins that came with my bridle and put these on instead; they are perfect, soft and supple, and easy to hang onto. I don't remember them ever being stiff, but if they were ever were they aren't now!
I recently bought a really nice western bridle and I'm getting another pair of these to use because I don't like split reins. I initially bought these because I had seen rubber reins at a horse show and really liked them, but they were over $100.00, so I didn't get them. I can honestly say these ones are just as nice as those were!If you are hesitating, just take the plunge, you won't regret it! I would say anyone would benefit by just have a set of these on hand. They are SOOO worth the money!

They work great, hold up, repel sweat, very grippy. Very stiff when you first get them but they break in. I just wish they were longer.

Well they worked GREAT for the first three weeks. Then they started to come apart. The leather is crap. And then yesterday they broke. My horse accidently stepped on them and put slight pressure and snap goes the reins. Save your money and buy better ones.

For the price of these, I wasn't expecting much. However, I'm totally in love with them. The grip on them works great, and the length of them are perfect. Now it's not as easy for my gelding to pull a fast one of me and take them out of my hands!

When I bought them I didn't expect much considering they were rubber and cheap. When I tried them out with my horse we both loved them. It has a great grip and it's long enough for those days when your horse is pulling for more rein! I will be getting another pair of these soon.

Got these for X-Mas and love them, especially for riding in the snow or rain, because unlike my leather reins that tend to get a little slippery, these are nice and grippy!

I love them to death! I highly reccomend these! I love that they have a rubber grip, and I am a very hard rider. They work awesomely on my Appendix Quarter Horse, PPQ Two Down Dash. The perfect length. And she has a long body, considering her great, great, great grandfather is Bold Ruler.

I bought a pair of these for a friend, and after reading the reviews I decided to get a set for myself, too. The quality is really amazing for the $14.99 price. The leather is good, the ends include the doubled leather around the bit, the rubber grips are solid but not too bulky, and the stitching looks good. I may buy another pair for my other bridle once I see how these wear.

I bought these reins a couple of weeks ago expecting them to be cheap crap, instead I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and the comfortable grip! The only thing I would change is have them be flat instead of raised.

These are really nice looking reins! The raised leather, the grippy rubber... much better quality than I expected at this price! High recommended

Great price on rubber reins and they aren't cheap junk. If you are looking for a rubber rein tat you can use regularly and have them hold up, but not pay a fortune, this is the set to get! Leather isn't top quality but I hate spending $100 on a set just to have the rubber wear down and have to toss them anyway.

I love these reins! First it's difficult to find reins of this quality for this price. Second, they are made of very substantial materials and they are long enough to accommodate my very tall quarterhorse in riding English discipline AND neck reining. I'm here to buy another pair for my arabian mare.
