Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE THEM! I love them to death! I highly reccomend these! I love that they have a rubber grip, and I am a very hard rider. They work awesomely on my Appendix Quarter Horse, PPQ Two Down Dash. The perfect length. And she has a long body, considering her great, great, great grandfather is Bold Ruler. January 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Bargain I bought a pair of these for a friend, and after reading the reviews I decided to get a set for myself, too. The quality is really amazing for the $14.99 price. The leather is good, the ends include the doubled leather around the bit, the rubber grips are solid but not too bulky, and the stitching looks good. I may buy another pair for my other bridle once I see how these wear. December 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful product! I bought these reins a couple of weeks ago expecting them to be cheap crap, instead I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and the comfortable grip! The only thing I would change is have them be flat instead of raised. December 19, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm impressed! These are really nice looking reins! The raised leather, the grippy rubber... much better quality than I expected at this price! High recommended September 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the price Great price on rubber reins and they aren't cheap junk. If you are looking for a rubber rein tat you can use regularly and have them hold up, but not pay a fortune, this is the set to get! Leather isn't top quality but I hate spending $100 on a set just to have the rubber wear down and have to toss them anyway. August 27, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Them I love these reins! First it's difficult to find reins of this quality for this price. Second, they are made of very substantial materials and they are long enough to accommodate my very tall quarterhorse in riding English discipline AND neck reining. I'm here to buy another pair for my arabian mare. May 19, 2011

Exactly what I wanted.

These reins are easy on the hands and for the price are durable. This is my second pair. The first ones purchased 3 years ago are becoming soft and spongy where the hands continually grip

Love these as they offer better grip when riding

Do these reins have hand grips?
W I on Jun 23, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, they have rubber reins and are sufficiently grippy BUT they are cheap leather and the leather twists. I also got a pair with no keeper and so had to use a rubber band to keep it buckled. I would not get these for competition, but for just a cheap extra pair they are ok
