Why did you choose this?
what size is it?
Best Answer: You can choose a size cob/pony/horse. I chose horse and it fits my 15.2 - 16.1 hand horses perfect adjusts well
Is brown color the same color as the bridle picture?
Best Answer: Yes, it's a nice dark brown but it's really stiff, especially the nose band. Oiling didn't help either. My mare hated it. I just doesn't the money and bought a crown triple stitched padded bridle. It was worth the upgrade.
does this come in horse size in black?
Best Answer: Yes, it's available in horse size in black.
i have a halfinger mare what size would i need?
Best Answer: I bought this for a 14.3hd Connemara, they are similar in size, I would suggest a cob size. A full fits my 16.2hd Thoroughbred
Whats the difference between the square and non-square bridles?
Best Answer: It's a bit hard to explain, but it's really just the raised part of the leather that is squared off. So instead of having a rounded look to the nose band and brow band of the bridle, the leather is more square.
I don't think it effects the function of the bridle at all, it's just a looks thing. However I did have a slight split in the leather occur on the middle of the brow band, can't say if this was from the leather being 'raised squarely' or poor shipping and handling, but it did occur before I ever put it on my horse. Hope this helps!
How long are the reins for this bridle?
Best Answer: My daughter mixes and matches so many of her reins that it's hard to answer this question because I'm not sure which reins she has on this bridle at the moment. I can say that her horse is over 17hh and she did not have any issues with the length......wish I could be of more help!
Can I detach the noseband/bit and attach a Tory Steel Core Waxed Bosal noseband?
Best Answer: Hi Rachel -
I have been very satisfied with my bridle. It is supple and easily conforms to my horse's head. The noseband is a separate piece of leather and completely detaches from the bridle. The primary restriction would be the size of the end loops of the browband that hold the 2 separate pieces together. I am not familiar with the noseband you mention, but unless it is made of very thick or extra wide leather, it should fit through the browband loops.
Is the bridle pictured here the brown color or the chestnut color?
