My Q Baby has a very controlled mane, but when I have braids in her mane, she likes to rub her mane off. So I put this on her, and she doesn't rub as much. But when she does, she rubs really hard. So one of these will last me bout a month. Overall, I think it's a very good product, considering the abuse my Q Baby does to it.

We have several of these in sizes from mini to warmblood. they keep the mane down, braids or bands in, and the horse clean. Only for use for a short time however, as in the night before the show or in a stall at a show.

I just got this hood today. My horse hasnt had one on in a couple years (just bought her) so she is currently trying to scratch it off. So far no picks, runs, or holes after half an hour of rubbing. I would racomment this product and it is $15 cheaper than anywhere else I looked!

My horse is the most jumpy horse ever, and after a little coxing, he took this with ease, and wore it all night. Only problem is after several wears, the strap behind his legs broke, so we had to tie it. I have never had the actually material rip.

This item does a great job when it isn't torn. I haven't met one yet that wasn't torn they are not worth the price! The material isn't rugged enough for horses

Good for any horse! Fits ponies to drafts. One thing is if you dont put a halter on over it it will slip around. ALWAYS WEAR A HALTER OVER IT THAT FITS THE HORSE AND IS TIGHTENED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! I see how this could be unsafe for your horse but if you buy the right size and put a halter over it it shouldn't cause any problems during the SHORT TIME they should be wearing it. Great product. I used this on my Lippizaner/Haflinger cross and it worked like a charm for before the show. When you go to pro shows and your horse has to be SPOTLESS from head to toe, you NEED this product. Im a pro eventer and i reccomend this product. It is very durable and good.

This product does not hold up. One rub on anything rough and it rips and runs. Mine lasted 2 days before the 1st hole appeared. By 1 week was hanging off in shreds.

I used this product all season to keep my all-around horse's banded mane in shape overnight before the shows. I show approximately 2 weekends per month. I never had any trouble with it slipping over my petite mare's ears or eyes or with the zipper slipping or busting. While the material is not quite as thick as some of the other brands, it definitely did its job. I would suggest to anyone looking for a decent slinky/cover-up at a great value.

This is a very good and usefull product. However, there are some examples of injury. This product should only be used in a stall or controlled area for a very short amount of time(1-2 days) and should be checked up on in case of injury. I have used this following this standard and it has made grooming my horses faster and better. They also have beautiful manes that are not out of control. This is not very effective if you have it on for a short amount of time(3-4 hours). I am very sorry if you have had injury.

I have used this product only for a week (it wasn't mine). I used so my geldings mane would stay on the same side. it also helped when he had a few short hairs standing up to keep them tamed down. I have never used this product before and it didn't do him any danger, I reccomend this.

Very good product, but not good for turnout or for a stall with windows as your horse will tear holes into the material. Overall it is a good item though and I have one for everyone of my show horses.

I would like to let your customers know that this perticarlar iteam was used on my rope horse and with in four hours it had shifted over his eye and tore his cornira and is now blind in his right eye with in 14 days of use of this hood. I feel that as a responsable horse owner you customers should be aware of the potentail danger this hood has. thank you for your time . A very upset customer and a blind rope horse . Cheryl Staples
