Did anyone else have an issuse with this when they were using it on hard dirt…my block was shaved down, and i couldn't use it because the block was disapearing…lol?

Best Answer: I assume that you mean by "using it on hard dirt" that you're talking about hard dirt on the horse. If I have a lot of dried mud or dirt on my horse, I usually start with a rubber curry comb to break that up and get most of it off before going to the grooming block. I primarily use the grooming block as a shedding tool, particularly in areas like the face and legs, where a shedding blade is too hard. And no matter what you're trying to clean, the block will gradually disappear. Thankfully, they're inexpensive, so buy several!
