My horse hated this bit!, 5/20/2012

From the moment I put this bit in my horse's mouth, I realized it was going to be a problem. She could not keep her mouth still and was practically swallowing it. When I rode her with it she kept shaking her head and resisting. I think it was pinching her tongue and it has way too much action for her. My friend then loaned me the "SS Hinged Ported Roller Futurity Bit" and she did MUCH better with it. But I've decided to go ahead spend the money and buy a Mylar bit. I don't recommend this bit at all.

Nice Bit, 3/12/2012

I run barrels in this and my gelding responds great and really is comfortable with it. I've tried switching a couple times but I always come back to this. Also, just stated using this on another horse who I'm patterning for barrels and competes in poles and I have got great results with him in this bit as well. Well worth every penny x 100!!!

great bit, 3/15/2009

We tried this bit at the suggestion of a friend and it worked wonders. Our gelding was fighting his other snaffle and slinging his head. A few rides with this bit and he has stopped both. It is gentle on his mouth and easy going in.
