I heard so many horrible things about this bit when I was trying to find a bit that my rocky mountain gelding would like. The first time I rode him with it he really seemed to relax in the mouth and neck and just seemed like he really enjoyed it. I do not have one bad thing to say about this bit! My horse is really responsive, easily stopped and turned, and relaxed! I love this bit! Wonderful bit for any discipline!

At first my mare worked very lightly in this and did anticipate when i was going to ask her to turn more, but when we started running more she ran right through this bit so i had to buy a combination bit. but for a quieter horse i think it would work great. only real problem i had with it was it rusted very quickly

I have never met a horse who hasn't liked this bit. I prefer it for gaming, but it does work well with your casual hack. Horse responds well, doesn't fight with it or toss their head, stops nice. Personally, this is my favorite bit in the barn!

I love this bit! Simple as that. I've used this bit on my mustang, my friend's mustang(who usually can only be ridden in a hack), a few QHs, even a small draft. With every horse it seems to work wonders! My mare had a bit of a control issue, she doesn't like to stop, and she didn't used to like to bend. I barrel race her now and this has put a good woah on her and she turns so nice now. Just amazing, she loves it, it's not to weak and not to strong. Just perfect. Plus, the price is right, can't argue with that.

I have used this bit on green broke horses to old dead broke horses, but it always impresses me. They respond so well and becaome very soft at the bit. This bit plus Clinton Anderson Downunder Horsemanship training have made horse I work very in tune to what I ask of them.

I use this on my trail horse, because he turns great in it. It really makes his head turn into the turn (if that makes sense) I love this bit!

since the first time i used this bit ive loved it! ive never had anyone use it and not like it.
i train barrel and trail horses and its a great versatile bit that i can use on many orses and many diffrent stages. you can clip the reins on to the largest circle to use just like a snaffel and the bottom one for more leverage, gives control with out always being harsh, gives the horse time to think, gives a good headset. great for barrels!

My horse is real light on the mouth. this bit is WONDERFUL for horses who dont want you to be rough. It is for communication, not control. If you have a controlable horse, and that is attentive, this bit is a real good one to use. My horse is far enough along to be out of a snaffle, but a curb bit is to rough. The short shanks and the broken bit works amazing. I would def. recommend. Gamers, this works good to!!

I think this is a good gag bit especially for the hard mouthed horse. As long as you put a fairly snug curbchain on it so the bit dosnt cut the horses tongue in half it is fine. But I used it on my 12 yo mustang that used to be a rental horse and had a very hard mouth to become a bit softer and for him to stop bolting. I think you should always use two sets of reins on this bit so you dont hurt the horses mouth!!!!!
