my horse loves this bit and so do i my instuctor loves it, the previous horse owners loved it and i love it!!! it is super easy to slip in the mouth and the copper is a great taste for the horse:)

Was looking for a nice heavy short shank snaffle to train my horse to neck rein, shes still adjusting but I'm hoping she will take to it well. As a horse owner I love it. But the final decision goes to her... and we wait. Great even compared to other more expensive short shank snaffles out there.

BAD Bit!, 11/25/2011

I have never had any luck with TT's. They are bits that no beginner should ever use, and only experienced riders and horses should even touch. It's too easy to screw up with them. Very easy to pinch the horses cheeks and start a head-flipping habit. Do a simple search on google about Tom Thumbs and you will get thousands of results about not using them. Please, take a step back from this bit and buy one of the other lovely ones the site has.

This bit is too heavy. I feel as if i am putting to much metal in my horses mouth. Should be lighter. Must have been made in China.
