Product Summary:

No insecticides!
Easy and economical to use – holds more than other sticky traps.

  • Disposable – when full, just throw away
  • Weatherproof – special adhesive won’t melt or wash away
  • Compact size – offers a 350 degrees trapping surface that holds 8,000 flies
  • Ideal for use around stables, cattle ranches, poultry operations, kennels, restaurants, home and garden.
  • Instructions For Use:
Remove trap from box by the black end caps. Do not touch the clear mid-section-it is covered with sticky adhesive. Place trap in direct sunlight preferably 10 feet away from structures. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
    For Best Results:
Set trap up to 4 feet off the ground, in the Biting Fly Zone. Place it in a highly visible spot where stable flies can easily see the trap. Keep trap clear of grass and other vegetation.

Place traps outside of horse paddocks, livestock pens and kennels where animals and children won`t disturb them.

Stable flies of ten lurk in trees, weeds, bushes and fence lines near their hosts. Open areas near these hiding spots make good trap locations. In large open areas, space traps every 50-100 feet.

    To Remove Adhesive
    :
If the traps adhesive gets on skin or clothing, remove it with waterless hand cleaner, then wash with mild soap and water. If on hair or animal fur, rub area well with salad oil, baby oil or mineral oil to completely dissolve adhesive. Wash with a mild soap or shampoo and rinse well. Repeat if necessary.

    Fly Control, 9/22/2011

    SANDRA REIBER from Lincoln, NE

Great product, I hang one of these next to the water tank (low where the flies are) and set one in the sun where flies congregate. Amazing how many are trapped!

    Waste of Money, 8/14/2011

Lilbits from Lake Havasu City, AZ

Title says it all...Used next to horses stall, still had stable flies biting me and the horses in stalls, not many flies attached to trap. Also had it hangin on a shepherds hook and the wind broke the flimsy top holder.

    Works great, 7/6/2011

    Bina from Wisconsin

Had good success with this trap. It catches a lot of flies. Unfortunately also caught some finches in it. Now I put a mesh wire around to keep the birds away.

    Would NOT buy again., 6/9/2011

    Dani P from Hazleton, PA

All it did was trap baby birds. I hardly saw any flies on the thing at all. I would NOT buy this again. It caught and killed 3 baby birds before we took them down. They were so sticky they could not be saved.

Flimsy!! Can't even put it up without it falling , 5/4/2011

    Laura B. from Crescent, OK

This trap is so poorly built that I can't even get the top to stay on long enough to put it up.

    Used it for years, 3/10/2011

Bite Free Stable Fly Trap from Flat Rock, MI

Stable flies are the ones that bite the horses (and my) ankles. It works great for those pesky buggers! My horses don't stomp all day like they used to. Now if someone could come up with a trap for those darn ear flies!

    works!, 4/12/2010

    Janet from

This fly trap really targets biting flies! I don't recommend placing it close to bird nests. We had two birds get caught in them last year.
