Our mare LOVES these things, and her stable-mates do too! We got the licorice and the peppermint, and both are a really big hit. The pieces are small so I don't feel bad giving her several during an event that requires her patience and time (like grooming), and she loves them so much that she flaps her lips each time she wants another one. Would be GREAT for use in training.

I went to see a horse yesterday in one of those fabulous Ocala ranches (world class, music piped in, an OMG experience) and tested the apple and peppermint treats from this brand. They loved both- but hands down went to the peppermint treats in my hand faster when both were offered at the same time. Buy a small bag if you're not sure- but I'd just start with the five pound! Also, get the Peppermint Jolly Ball- two horses out there already had one and they play with it, so peppermint is a real favorite! I've got the apple and it's yummy scented too!

Cherry my miniature trick horse is really smart and learns new tricks fast. You should see her look up at me with those big blue eyes, waiting expectantly for another peppermint treat! I also found out that peppermint is proven to stimuate brain activity! I have been training my horses with your treats for way over 10 years.. My horses are picky eaters, they enjoy your brand the best !

My horse loves these treats! I give him the peppermint kind and he checks my pockets all the time to see if I have them! I bought the licorice kind when the others ran out and my horse didn't like them

Bought a bag of the apple in the local tack shop and my mare loved them. Found them cheaper on this site and decided to buy the peppermint (which many reviews say are the barn favorite), and the carrot just for good measure. My horse loves all three kinds and they're relatively cheap. Even if you buy the 5 lb bags and reuse the 11 oz baggies for in your grooming box.

My horse loves these treats! I have the peppermint ones and they smell great. You get a lot for your money, and i like that they are easily broken into small pieces so i can use them for carrot stretches with my horse.

My horse loves these treats. I have the peppermint and carrot in the smaller size and the apple in the 5lb. A ton of treats come in each package and last forever. The horses aren't the only ones who like these. If you have mice at your barn you might want to keep these somewhere else. BUY THESE TREATS!!!

Horses love these!I was partial to them after my brother ate one and said it tasted like sawdust, but the horses love them! Also the smell allures them! I was standing with 2 of the horses and one started sniffing my pocket then so did the other one! I gave them one and they LOOOOOOVED them! Also, this pic doesnt show, but the carrot ones are cylinder orange block things..

great treat! my 40 yr old pony has hardly any teeth, and has a hard tine chewing treats. He can easily chew them, and loves the apple flavor! great price for the treats, and a lot in each bag! But these treats!

My horse loves these treats, as do all the other horses along the aisle! They're convenient to carry around in your pocket, stay fresh for a long time as long as you keep the package sealed, and I've yet to meet a horse who refuses them. In fact, my horse's next-door stallmate has learned to paw at his stall door begging to have some, too. Have tried both the peppermint and the apple. Peppermint is the favorite, but apple is welcomed heartily. Great product!

I don't have my own horse but whenever i go to ride i always bring these along with me. The horses love them. They can break if you need too but they are not completely crumbly. It was totally worth my money!

My horse loves these treats, the peppermint especially and I love that it gives her a fresh breath. My complaint here is that I can buy the 5lbs at Tractor Supply for 4.99-6.99. Much cheaper than the 11.99 on here plus shipping!
