Why did you choose this?
Statelinetack.com Store
I am using this syringe for giving water and other nutritional liquids to my large elderly dog that can no longer drink water on her own. She has learned to swallow liquids properly using this syringe. I also used these syringes to give drinking water to my 19 year old Texas Longhorn cow, when she went down and could not get back up. Hydration is important even during the dying process.

how wide is the opening?
Jean P on Sep 24, 2015
Best Answer: I don't have one with me here at work but if you are trying to put a needle on it, it wouldn't work. If you are trying to give your animal something by mouth, it can take a pretty thick substance. If I were to guess, I would say 1/8" opening. Sorry I can't be more exact.
