I wasn't sure about trying a brand of bridle I've never heard of, but what an awesome bridle! Leather is so soft, but very durable. Quality is amazing. Fits my 16.1 Standardbred like a dream.

Very Nice Bridle, 4/2/2012

I really love this bridle. I bought it for my paint mare who seems so get her bridle dirtier than any other horse I have ever had. So love the fact that it is so easy to clean. The material it is made of feels so nice also. It is not a flimsy feeling material. It is nice and thick and seems to be very durable. Great for every day use. I do wish it came with the reins. That was this bridles only falt as far as I'm concerned. I got the full horse size and it fit very nicely. My mare is 15.3 HH with a typical throughbred head. I think it would fit a bigger horse fine, but it is close to smallest holes to fit her.

Beats Wintec by a mile!, 11/4/2010

Got this 2 weeks ago at the same time as the Wintec bridle. The Tekna is far superior in that it has the weight and feel closer to good leather vs the Wintec which is thin and cheap feeling. The Tekna noseband is a better fit as the Wintec was too tight at its loosest (15.3 hand quarter horse). The strap for the noseband on the Tekna is incorporated in one band over the poll- makes it smoother and less lumpy. The Wintec really irritated my horse- worse ride ever while the Tekna improved things immediately. Both have keeps that are a bit too loose but the problem is less noticeable with the Tekna. I will look for Tekna products in the future and though I like my Wintec saddle, this experience makes me leery of future Wintec purchases.
