I like plaited reins, and my last pair died of old age, after 15 years.

Is this a set of reins, each one is 60", or is it 60" total when connected?
Marianne G on Sep 22, 2014
Best Answer: I checked mine today. EACH rein is about 60". This measurement includes the end that folds back over the bit, which doesn't really count in the length of the rein. They are a nice length when connected. I ride English, loose rein on the trail and with a slightly shorter rein in the ring and they are a comfortable length. They have a nice, soft feel in the hands and a nice drape as well.

Hope this has helped.
