Why did you choose this? Store
I don't use draw reins much, but my trainer recommended these, as they have a better 'feel' than the traditional leather ones. These are nice quality, and long enough for a 17.2 hand big boy.

To use with the bridle with my Wintec, which is black, and reins are black.

I have an over 17 hand horse, will these reins be long enough?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2013
Best Answer: I've used these (in black) on two horses - 16hh and 16.3hh. They are plenty long for both. I bought 2 brass clips to attach the draw reins to the ring on my schooling girth - this adds 4-6" to the length of the draw reins (though I don't need the extra length, just the convenience). I'd try this if you need more length.
