I have wanted a bitless bridle and liked the reviews

Ordered the Western-looking bridle with the rope noseband and it was just too harsh. This bridle looks better and should be better quality.
Gabrielle R on Aug 28, 2014
My horse hates her bit and her fussing causes a spiral in our communication. She has a sensitive mouth as well. I have looked at several bitless bridles and found this one very attractive and agreeable. Also, I like that it does not add any chin or lower jaw pressure. Can't wait to try it!

Can blinders be incorporated into this bridle?
Jeff S on Feb 2, 2014
Best Answer: I. bought this same item last month...but due to the weather am not doing much outdoors. I don't have a clue whether blinders can be used or not. I have never used blinders. I bought a western side pull also and my goal is to test it out on therapy horses as a "kinder" apparatus for riders who tend to be very heavy handed. My hope is that they can actually learn how to direct their horse in a more effective way. Sorry I don't have a link of knowledge in working with blinders. Good luck to you.... Rosie.

How dark is it? I am planning on getting a light-ish brown all purpose english saddle and it would really bug me if they shades were very different. I know this is a weird question. Also, will this last me long and is it real leather?
Jadyn on Jul 27, 2016
Best Answer: The Tory English Bridle Leather Nose Side Pull is a very dark and rich brown. It is slightly darker than the picture, so I don't know how well it will look with light-brown saddle. It is real leather, and so far has lasted well for me. I bought this head piece about a year ago and it still looks and works great. A little stiff in the beginning, but it bends to horse's head very well.

what colour is leather !?
A shopper on May 24, 2015
Best Answer: I returned this product because it was too small for my draft, but I recall that it was a dark brown.

Will this help horses that snatch reins when in a snaffle bit?
Mary W on Oct 28, 2014
Best Answer: I'm not too sure about that one. I use it on my OTTB that I resuced from slaughter. For whatever reason he really hates having anythign in his mouth and he will throw his head and actually start to gag. He is a really mild horse that responds much better with leg and seat contact than anything with the reins. This bridle exherts minmal pressure on the nose and poll becuase of how it is made.

Should the noseband on this bridle be fitted as tightly as a regular noseband on a bitted bridle?
Garcia on Mar 13, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, it should not be fitted to the point where it is constricting.

Would this side pull fit an arab or smaller q-horse?
Brenda J on Mar 19, 2014
Best Answer: We were so excited to find this for my daughter's Half-Welsh/Half Quarter Horse, unfortunately, it did not fit. He's about 14.2 hands and probably weighs 900 pounds and generally wears Cob size equipment really well. The quality of the leather was great and if it had come in Cob size we would have been thrilled. Hope you find something that works.
