Re: tandem saddle--Could someone ever attach a pic/ or tell me how these straps should attach to the saddle? I am a bit confused! Shawna

Best Answer: Looks like they have it attached to the belly band and at top of saddle...but a better picture would be nice. We just attach the straps anywhere and make sure they are fastened snuggly. We have never had a problem.

Can this child's tandem ride saddle be used with an english saddle as well?
    Anne F on Apr 16, 2014
Best Answer: I have not tried to fasten it to an English saddle. I do not believe it would work. The tandom overlaps the back of a western saddle and is fastened tightly against the back of the seat. My fear would be that their isn't enough to an English saddle for it to stay safely in place. My daughter enjoyed ridding on the tandom saddle. It boosted her confidence after a bad fall.

Does this need a saddle pad under it also or does it has the "extra bit" of cushion?
    Pam L on Dec 22, 2013
Best Answer: I don't think it needs another pad under it, but we never actually used it. That piece of foam in the front is so big that the child can't even reach the person in the saddle to hang on to - and unless the horse is HUGE, the child is sitting on top of the tail. I took mine apart and took the front piece of foam out but couldn't get my granddaughter to try it again.
