I love this little pad, it helped me build my leg muscles for bareback again. The straps ARE long but easy to adjust as well as stirrups. Overall, great little pad to get up and go. I have not had problems with sliding. Great buy! My bud has high withers, so this helps a lot!

I bought this so i could be able to just get up an go it is an great pad but when i started to run alot it ripped in the back where i sat. I have a throughbred and the cinch strap rubs against him an rubbed the hair off so i use i saddle blanket with it now. The stirrups have fallen off when i was running one time i have to constantly tighten them. Other than that it is really comfy an a great bareback pad!!!

My husband bought one, was so impressed we bought another. When friends ride with us, we always let them use it - even beginning bareback riders feel safe.

I bought this to have something lightweight and quick. I forgot to remember these come 'one size fits all' so when it arrived I put it on my horse wanting to use it right away.
Well all the cinch straps are VERY long (in case you have a big horse), and I had to take it home to poke extra holes to make my cinch straps fit and I had to cut off some of the extra strap length on both sides. I then used it, but the stirups are adjustable & the straps attaching the stirups are cheap, so any weight put on them caused them to loosen and slide down. So I had to take it home & figure out a fix for that.
It's a very thin seat (NO cushion at all, like sitting on a nylon dishtowel) so I use a lightweight pad under it.
Once the kinks are worked out & you have it fitted to the horse and rider it's a good little bareback saddle. I only give it 3 stars because it took some effort to make it work for my 15h quarter horse. But so far after that it's held up well. I like that the stirrups can be taken off and it's supereasy to travel with.
