Doesn't work, 5/3/2012

Donkey Rider from Maine

As a donkey owner, it is hard to find a good saddle that works for both me and my jenny. I bought this saddle thinking the stirrups would be good for me; the light weight and flexible pad would be good for her. Like others who reviewed here, I was sadly disappointed. The saddle did NOT stay tight, nor did the stirrups. I never even tried to put my foot in the stirrup becuase I could not trust it! The bugger was that I couldn't get the thing back off either! The donkey got an extra treat for being so patient while I tried to make it work, and the saddle is being returned tomorrow.

Not a good Pad, 4/27/2012

Tough-1 Deluxe Bareback Pad with Stirrups from Winnie, TX

This is not a very good pad. The right stirrup slips, cannot tighten the girth, and the stirrup buckles rub on your leg. Is just collecting dust in the barn.

Honestly, I thought this would be great. It doesn't even go on tight. I can ride bareback better! It's easier to stay on that way! Stirrups or not. The whole thing slides. Even on my obese horse. :P

I bout this thinking that it would be amazing to ride with. I was so wrong!.. it doesnt tighten, slips down very easily! the first (and last ever!) time that I rode in this i put a diffrent amount of pressure on one sturrup and the whole thing just went down. I fell off with it and my back still hurts from falling and that was a week ago!! I am ssooo returning it!!
