Why did you choose this? Store
I bought these by accident. I wanted the front boots. But I really liked them so I did not send them back. Now I'm ordering the front.

I am hoping the venting will make them cooler since we live in the desert.

Will these boots help protect against knocking? My horse has a very big walk movement and swings through his shoulders and sometimes knocks his front legs. Do I need a harder boot for that or will these work?
A shopper on Jan 14, 2015
Best Answer: No, these are very thin boots. I personally didn't like these boots, the Velcro straps that keep they on the horse broke on two different pairs within three months. I would highly recommend the classic equine pro tech boots. I love those. I am on my second pair. They last years and have a hard protective plate on the outside of the boot on the back and inside leg part. The inside is squishy and nice.

is the inside fetlock area padded? my horse hits herself there with other back hoof.
Tina M on Nov 4, 2014
Best Answer: Yes. It's padded there. This is a good basic boot for light pleasure riding. If you're going to do heavy work, I'd recommend the Sport Medicine Boot. I've owned both and they're both good depending on what you do.

Best Answer: I purchased a pair about a year ago. They are very adaptable since they wrap around. I've even used them on the front legs!
