I have had a set of these trail ride stirrups for quite a few years and they're wearing out. They have helped greatly when on long rides to keep my legs, especially the knees and hips, comfortable. That's why I'm ordering another set.

This is the second set I have bought. I have another set of stirrups, made by another manufacture that were a lot more expensive. These might be a little heavier, but worth spending about 1/2 the cost of the others. Very comfortable, easy on the knees and back!

I have another set of stirups similar to these by another company that cost more than twice the cost of these. These are just as comfortable, wide, soft on the foot, spread weight over a wider area of the foot, etc. They are a little heavier than my others but I don't feel that since they are attached to the saddle, and I don't find them any harder to turn than other stirups. I am pleased enough I will buy another set for another saddle. I recommend these to any serious rider.

I bought these for trail riding, of course. Unfortunately I had no idea of how heavy they would be. The weight makes a big difference since they flop around quite a bit and have some momentum to them. The padding is very comfortable.
They might work better with something that turns the stirrup into a riding position. Having to hold that extra weight with the bending of the fender really put a lot of strain on my knees. Both were sore. Overall, though, I think they are just too heavy.
