Have horse with ring bone. She is a bit stiff and this helps her to go down the trail just fine. Helps support the area and stabilizes it from too much painful movement.

Are these boots a hit or miss, and are they mediums ?
Hannah T. on May 13, 2015
Best Answer: They're a definite hit! I absolutely love these sport boots and so does my barrel horse. They are a size medium which fits my mare very well. I like that they are vented which allows air to circulate through; which keeps my horse comfortable and happy! I also like the fact that not only are they affordable they are also very durable. I've had them for about a year now and even with heavy use they are still almost like new. I hope this helps your decision! Have a great day and God bless! ??

i have a 15hh paint, a 14.1hh arab and a 13.2hh welsh pony. will they fit?
reagan h on Jul 14, 2014
Best Answer: I used med on 14 and up to 15.5 hands then you go to large. The are super good in all kinds of weather. Fit great. I bought all kinds cheap and high price but tough 1 are the best. A small might work good on 13 hands pony. I had no problems in rain but have not used in ponds or rivers. Have a nice ride!.

Do these soak or repel water? Lots of rivers here so I don't need sponges strapped to my horse.
Candy on Sep 21, 2014
Best Answer: Unfortunately they do soak up water like a sponge. They are a great boot though, but if you're in an area with a lot of rivers, I do not recommend these.

Can these boots be used for trail riding that could be 1-3 hours?
Debbie K on Aug 22, 2014
Best Answer: Absolutely. They are more than adequate for that especially with the breathable material their made out of. I wouldn't hesitate to ride my horse in them all day. I use mine for barrel racing and endurance both. Just remember its always good to hydro after riding athletically after your horse has quit breathing hard. This reduces stress and inflammation. Wrapping and rub down is good practice as well just make sure to learn to wrap correctly so that you are protecting those tendons.

Do they come in pony?
Sophcarr on Jan 14, 2014
Best Answer: That is a cute question. They come in small which would be good for a pony. : ) I use the medium on my horse which is 15.3 hands. These are well ventilated and work well at supporting my equine athletes tendons and bones. Blessings, Toni

I have a 15-16 hh quarter horse, but i'm not sure how to size him to know what size, any one know how i could or what size might fit him?
Ashlynne C on Aug 3, 2014
Best Answer: I used a size medium on an approximate 14.5 h mare. It was definitely large enough. There is quite a bit of adjustment available on these boots.

I have a 4 year old 14 hand morgan mare that pulled a tendon last summer. Do you think that this will help support her tendon to give her better chances to not injure herself again? If so what size should i take medium or small?
Susan L on May 1, 2014
Best Answer: Since they don't have the supports on the inside, I believe you'd be better off getting the Professional Choice Legacy boots or something similar.
The Tough - 1 boots are great, but if you are looking for specific protection, you'd be better off with something with inside supports.

Hello. I have a 13h quarter pony. will these fit her?
shaye d on Jul 21, 2014
Best Answer: To be honest I have not had a horse less than 14 hands but he wore a medium. It depends on the size of his legs, fetlock, and hoof. I believe a small would work. You need enough to be able to pull the velcro straps around and not leave any space between his leg and the boot.
