I bought this helmet 2 years ago and it still looks good! It is a good quality helmet. I keep a helmet cover on it to help protect the velvet, but I'm sure if you don't have a helmet cover, it shouldn't get ruined.

i have gotten two of these helmets the first time i fell off and the dial fit completely broke also the velvet comes off wayy too easily the nice part of the helmet that covers the part that actually protects you pops off. because it is only held on with big globs of glue. terrible helmet. terrible quality. i'm no longer going to buy a velvet helmet anymore.

I didn't have exactly this helment, but the one without the dial size thing. It worked wonderful though. At a show I got bucked off my horse and hit my head on the ground. The helment cracked but saved my head, no concusion or anything.

I was disapointed in this helmet. There was tape to hold the velvet together! The Troxel victory is a much better buy.

Nice helmet, but the shape is not always flattering. It sits high on the head and is quite heavy compared to others on the market.
