Why did you choose this?
This helmet is advertised as $34.99, but when I try to add it to my cart is says it is $49.99. What is the correct price?
Best Answer: The small thumbnail image will always show the lowest possible price for that item. The Pink color is on closeout for $34.99 so that is the lowest available price for this helmet. Other colors are not on closeout and are priced at $49.99.
Which ones are 34.99?
Best Answer: The website says starting at $34.99 but when you click the sizes it changes to $49.99. Sounds like a error on their website but i'd call their 800 number and place the order on the phone and request they honor the $34.99 pricing.
Does it fit true to sizing chart?
Best Answer: I tried this helmet on at a local tack shop & bought it online. Each helmet no matter the brand is such an individualized fit. I usually wear small helmets & did order this in a small. Had to play around with the sizing foam pieces inside the helmet to adjust fit, but that is what they are for. I would strongly recommend you try it on a tack shop first if you can.
Is this helmet a men's helmet to?
Best Answer: Yes, definitely can be worn by either sex. I have 2 of these helmets & very happy with them.
Does this helmet (Legacy) have air vents in the back or just the front. Also, it looks like there isn't as much padding in the back of the helmet as there is on a Spirit or Liberty. Would this be a problem if one fell more to the back of the head?
Best Answer: Yes, there are vents in the back of the helmet. This is a light weight helmet and it is lightly padded. It's pretty evenly padded all the way around the helmet. If you are looking for a heavy padded helmet then this isnt the helmet for you. I love this helmet and feel safe wearing it. I do a lot of trail riding and it works for me.
is black duratec matte finish or shiny?
Best Answer: The one that is listed as just "black" is shiny. The one that's listed as "black duratec" is not shiny. I have the black duratec. It's a very nice helmet!
Do all your helmets come with removable headliners?
Best Answer: I can't speak for ALL the helmets - I only bought this schooling helmet. It doesn't actually have a 'headliner' in that it isn't a one piece fabric 'cap' on the inside. It has several pads placed permanently inside at the top of your head. It has the 'hatband' type of fabric that you can place small foam spacers under if you desire. But it has the dial sizing adjustment which I just love!
Is the Ruby Red color a masculine red or more of a feminine shade? Looking for a boy's helmet.
Best Answer: I have this helmet in the Ruby color & I personally feel it's a more feminine shade. Kind of why I bought it too. It is closer to a maroon shade, not red if that helps you decide.
Description says it has CinchFit, but one of the reviews says it doesn't?? What type of fit system does it have
Best Answer: Terri- I bought this helmet because it was advertised as having a 'Cinch Fit" type of adjustment. After receiving the helmet, I found out it has the GPS 2, dial type of adjustment. If you want more info on the types of fit adjustments, go to the Troxel web site. I decided to keep the helmet just to try out the GPS 2 adjustment system. It works OK, but is not as comfortable for long rides as the Cinch Fit. If the helmet is to be used by more than one person or you wear different hairstyles when riding the GPS system is easier to adjust than the Cinch Fit.
What size would my 11 year old daughter need?
