Do they provide as good as a grip as all leather boots do?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2014
Best Answer: They are made from water-resistant neoprene material and synthetic leather so they will not grip the same way a leather boot does on a leather saddle.

What color are they?
Deb K on Nov 30, 2015
Best Answer: BLACK.
I was worried that I would need a wide calf bc a less expensive boot usually runs smaller by nature, but they are true to size and I probably didn't need the wider calf size, besides the material is more forgiving than leather.
Hope this helps!?

Are these unbearably hot in the summer?
A shopper on Nov 23, 2014
Best Answer: Mine are great to train in, they are a boot so they do get really hot! I perfer paddock boots in the heat and then my ariat show boots for showing! I use these in the winter months to practice in. They are a great stable boot! Hope that help you out!

Are they warm enough for winter riding?
A shopper on Dec 25, 2014
Best Answer: Absolutely yes -- very warm without being suffocating. However, they fit very snugly. Getting feet in is a challenge without a shoehorn (zipper only goes down to back of ankle) but once boots are on, OK fit and as comfy as riding boots can possibly be!
