I was leasing a draft warmblood and wanted a pad that would be durable and large enough to look good on him, and fit completely under the saddle. I had purchased hunter green online and an electric blue later on at a show. The pad fit perfectly, and was light enough to use in the heat of the summer. It was long enough to cover his wide sides completely so the saddle would not rub. They withstood washing nicely, though the green dulled just slightly. My friend purchased the pad as well.

I have a stocky 14.3 Appaloosa gelding and was wondering if this would fit him?
Ellie B on Mar 3, 2014
Best Answer: I would think so. I used for schooling (both my large QH mare and daughter's 13-2 pony). We did not use for show because we were told that we needed the fluffy white pads that barely peak out from the saddle. This pad is somewhat larger than that. We have 4 or 5 of them and think they're great. They wash well, too.

is this mini size?
Pat g on Sep 17, 2014
Best Answer: I wouldn't say this is sized for a mini horse, it is within regular for a medium sized horse. It might be a bit long down the back for a mini, although the girth dimension might be OK for a mini with a big barrel.

How big is it? Will it fit on a medium - large pony?
Laura on Dec 22, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Laura,

I purchased this in white to use as a show pad on my 14 hand quarter horse mare. She is not tall but is broad and the pad worked well. I will say though that it does boarder on being a bit to big as the sides do end up running in to the girth.

Hope this helps.

Happy Holidays.

I have a 15-2 15-4 Quarter horse gelding and I was wondering if this would fit in in a JC jumping/all purpose saddle?
Sidney G on Mar 27, 2015
Best Answer: I have a 15.2 QH mare, hunt seat saddle is a Duett Rondo wide tree, fits this saddle and horse fine, also have a dressage saddle Passier, does not meet bottom of flaps on the dressage saddle, Have not washed it yet but quality feels good.

How thick is this saddle pad?
A shopper on Nov 8, 2014
Best Answer: I estimate this pad to be about a half inch thick, maybe a little less. Although it is not very thick we really like it and it has held up very well.
