I really had ordered a different pad but it sold out before I finished my order. And I wanted a red pad for under $25 so found this and I think I have found an even better pad than I was going to get

These are being used as prizes for a charity show. I picked the size I needed, at the best price.

How large is this pad, and did it shrink after washing at all? I am searching for a smaller (21" topline length) dressage pad for my mare since she looks dwarfed in most dressage pads.

Best Answer: It does not shrink. We have a pony and a TB and it fits both fine. I have really not bought any other pads. Well I just recently bought a Mattes pad and I was told this is a great pad for dressage but very expensive.

How thick is this pad? My gelding had a injury to his withers with his previous owner and he needs a thicker pad for comfort. I cannot use a half pad on top of it because they bother him for some reason.
angloeventer on Aug 24, 2015
Best Answer: This is a comfortable dressage pad and is a "typical" thickness. I haven't had any issues with comfort on my horse with this pad but she does not have an injury. I would give it a try - it has held up very nicely for me.
