I was really excited to get these half chaps and absolutely loved the fit at grip. After just the second time wearing them, the zipper broke. I was quite disappointed given that the other reviews state how well these wear. Will be sending back for a new pair.

Almost everyone at my stable has these half chaps and loves them! They lasted me 3 years before the zipper broke, although the inner flap's stitching had halfway come out, which was a common problem with everyone's at my stable, but they were still usable. I used them for barn work to showing, and they clean up really easily (just hose them off!) Definitely a great deal!

My daughter got these chaps in April of this year and they are such a good buy. She has worn the heck out of them around the barn doing chores and they still clean up well for the riding shows she has done this past summer. Now almost six months later of almost daily wear are they just starting to look a little less than perfect. She loves the grip, and they really do look like leather boots when on. A definite recommendation on this item!

I just got these half chaps. I ordered them in a size medium because I wasn't sure if a large would be too big. I'm glad I stuck with the medium. My calf measures just under 14 inches and 14 inches on the size chart is supposed to be a large. But I am use to size charts being off. I ordered a medium and surprise surprise, They fit great. With the exception that around the bottom of my boot they're a little hard to snap. They also get hot and were a little tall for my long legs which was very surprising, but not something I couldn't put up with. They seem to grip well to leather materials. I am excited to try them out in lessons. I hope they last a while. They don't look like they're going to be easy to break either.

I cannot say enough about these chaps. Not only do they wear like iron, are easy to clean and look great but the best part is that they saved me from serious injury. I got attacked by a dog and it bit my leg held on and then tore. The dog punctured the half chap but they were sturdy enough to prevent serious damage to my leg. I have a bruise but no broken skin. The chaps only have a few small holes and most of the damage will rub out. No tearing on my leg or the chap. So thank you tough rider!!!

Very nice. They fit around my skinny calf and are perfest lenght.Very good air flow. But a bit 2 pricey.( I put my phone in my half chaps and theses i kept forgeting my phone was there becuse it was fit so snuggly.(I went jumping and galloping and they didnt fall out))

I love these half chaps, they are overall great excpet one thing, When I got the the zipper was torn in a place and now I can barley get them zipped. Other then thst I have had them for several months and they hold up GREAAT!!!

When I ordered them I was expecting them to fit like on the picture. No where close. They're a bit big on me. They do keep the leathers from pinching, but they're big. Oh well, At least I can grow into them!

These half chaps have been wonderful so far! I've only had them for about a month so I'm not sure how well they will hold up but they clean up really easily. I just wipe them with a damp cloth and they look brand new. They fit really great too. Overall a really good half chap for the price.
