Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by great boot While I can not comment on the warmth of this boot due to very mild winter temps down here in the south, I find the boot, extremely nice. I normally wear between a size 8 and a size 9, depending on the boot. The size 9 fits great with room for thicker socks. My zippers are easy to pull up or down with no problems. The medium calf size fits snug but not tight. The feel great in the saddle, but not for extensive walking, which is obviously not the purpose. My 12 year old daughter wears the same size I do, except the narrow shaft. Her boots fit great as well and are not too tall. We have worn them leaving on a ride in the 50 degrees and ending in the 70's and they felt comfortable from beginning to end. The foot is waterproof and the boots are easy to clean. Absolutely love them! February 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great boots for the money! I never had proper winter riding boots so my feet always got damp and cold. This keep your feet warm and toasty but I gave them four stars overall because had I NOT read the reviews, I would have ordered incorrectly. Also the zipper IS difficult. I have thicker but not really wide calves and ordered wide as well as up a size... PERFECT FIT! Super comfortable to ride in! January 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boots I love, love, love these boots. They keep my feet really warm and they are really comfortable. The quality of the product is good. I would recommend these boots to everyone! December 21, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Too small Seems a great boot but they run small. I usually take 7.5 but ordered 8 and that is still snug at toe with a regular sock - no way could I wear thick winter sock with these. Back they go unfortunately. December 12, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wide Calf my Eye! Buyer Beware! I was so excited to get these boots! My calves (with socks and breeches) are 16" (L) and 16 1/8" (R), so I ordered the 9 Wide boot which the size chart says is 16 1/2" thinking I would have plenty of room. Even without tall socks or breeches on I can barely get the Left one up and the right zipper won't budge at all. So I can just forget trying to put socks or breeches under them. I am so disappointed! Now I have to pay to return them...and go without boots until I get them exchanged for the DAFNA'S. Just great! December 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing! Amazing boots! I love them! I got them for christmas and i will forever buy these over and over again when they wear out! I have cold winters here and lots of riding/barn chores to do. We don't own an indoor only arena...so my feet always get cold. BUT NOT ANYMORE! I was a mess when my feet would get cold. I love these boots because they stand up to the coldest weather and my feet are always warm! I totally recommend! Will be buying more soon!! February 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boots I got these boots for christmas and I love them. They always keep my feet warm and dry. The calf is a bit large for me (I have very slim legs) but nothing drastic. The only reason for giving them four stars in quality is because the zipper can be a bit difficult at times. Bottom Line: I would buy these again. February 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not for the Wide of Calf I bought these in a wide for my daughter who has a wide calf. The right boot fit, barely, but the left wouldn't even begin to zip. Fortunately we have the same size foot and these boots fit me. I do not have a wide calf and they are none too loose in the calf for me. They are toasty and generally comfy, though a bit stiff in the ankle at first-hoping they will soften up some. January 27, 2012

I wear a 6.5 in Ariats paddock boots. Is size 6 in this boot too small?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2014
Best Answer: I wear between 5 1/2 and a 6 in 'dress shoes' that I wear for work with a typically more pointed toe. So, wanting to wear thick socks with these boots, I bought the 6 s and they fit well with the extra thick socks. However, if I were wearing regular socks, they'd be a tad too big so I have just recently purchased a size 5 for those times when it's warm enough to wear with just a regular sock. (Haven't arrived yet so I can't tell you about the fit)

Are these boots comfy enough to do barn chores and a lot of walking in?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2015
Best Answer: Yes they are. They are a bit heavy, but very comfortable and warm. I wore them everyday to break them in. No blisters or rubbing. I do wear boot socks with them as they are high on the leg. Even ride in them.

Best Answer: I am a small adult and can wear a child's 4 1/2 or 5. I bought these boots in a 6 so I could wear thick socks and they fit ok with the thick socks. (But for wearing with thinner socks, I'm ordering a pair in size 5). Recalling my purchase habits when my daughter was young, I always bought a little bigger in expensive footwear just so she could wear them for more than a season...so, with all of that, I'd think a 6 would be fine for her now and to grow into
