Love these boots, they are a little tight on my legs when zipping up. Warm in the winter!

I wear a 6.5 in Ariats paddock boots. Is size 6 in this boot too small?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2014
Best Answer: I wear between 5 1/2 and a 6 in 'dress shoes' that I wear for work with a typically more pointed toe. So, wanting to wear thick socks with these boots, I bought the 6 s and they fit well with the extra thick socks. However, if I were wearing regular socks, they'd be a tad too big so I have just recently purchased a size 5 for those times when it's warm enough to wear with just a regular sock. (Haven't arrived yet so I can't tell you about the fit)

Best Answer: I am a small adult and can wear a child's 4 1/2 or 5. I bought these boots in a 6 so I could wear thick socks and they fit ok with the thick socks. (But for wearing with thinner socks, I'm ordering a pair in size 5). Recalling my purchase habits when my daughter was young, I always bought a little bigger in expensive footwear just so she could wear them for more than a season...so, with all of that, I'd think a 6 would be fine for her now and to grow into
