Hi...how low are these, I'm looking for a mid rise, but in the photo they don't look low? I have a straight waist thin hips, butt and thighs?
Carol L on Aug 6, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Carol,
these breeches have been excellent for training rides. They are really a favorite of mine and wash up nicely. They really arent low-rise but hit me about 3 inches below my belly button. I am 5'7", 120 lbs..so very average build. Hope this helps. Feel.free to reach out if any more questions . Cynthia

According to the size chart, my waist is one size and my hips are two sizes up... Should I split the difference, or...? I guess I'm asking, how stretchy/durable?
A shopper on Mar 5, 2015
Best Answer: hi! i'm 5'5'', and i wear a size 8. i ordered a size 28, and it was perfect. super stretchy and comfortable. i tried a 30 and it was baggy around my waist. if i wore a belt while i rode, i'm guessing it would've been okay, but i don't like any extra fabric making folds, etc. also, i wash and dry them every time i wear them, and they are so durable, it's ridiculous. i have to be careful with my goode riders fading and tearing, and these tuff riders sure can take a beating! hope this helps... :)

Are the ankles elastic or velcro?
Amanda on Dec 30, 2014
Best Answer: Hi! The ankles are velcro. I really love them and I've gotten a lot of use out of them. Hope this helps!

I don't get to ride very often but am going on a 4 day trip in a few weeks. We are riding in the Wind Rivers so it may be cool. Which is the best pant for protection against chafing and warmth?
wendy w on Aug 19, 2014
Best Answer: I don't know how warm these would keep you - I took a couple pairs with me for a four day horse retreat, but it was really hot. They definitely didn't give me any problems with multi-day use (and I'm normally a once-a-week rider). All in all I've been happy with the fit, comfort, and price-to-quality balance I get from these breeches.
