Like these breeches the bast for the price.

I have lived in tuff rider breeches for years, too bad they don't last forever, just almost.

I love these breeches. Very reasonably priced, comfortable and relatively durable. I own several pairs and replace them as they wear out.

What is the difference between 28 regular and 28 large? Is it wider or longer?
Jtookie on Dec 30, 2013
Best Answer: I believe that the "L" designation after the size, as in 28L is actually for "long." I am only 5'6, but I always order 28L because I like the velcro closure at the bottom of the breeches to be down near my ankle and not in the more close-fitting part of my boots. These are great-fitting, long-wearing breeches that have just enough stretch to be comfortable.

how wide is the waistband?
msnap12 on Mar 23, 2014
Best Answer: The waistband is about 1 1/4 inches wide and easily accommodates a 1 inch belt. These breeches wear really well if you wash them in your washing machine on warm, then hang to dry. Very comforatble as well.

I am 5' 9" and have 33in waist 40in hip measurement but my old breeches were 30L from 20 yrs ago and still fit although they may be somewhat stretched out. I really want these to fit correctly but if I use the size chart I should order 36L and I'm afraid they will be too large. Can you help?
Nikki A on Dec 8, 2014
Best Answer: Unfortunately we can only go by the size chart provided to us by Tuffrider:

Sometimes multiple sizes are ordered with plans to return what doesn't fit; perhaps that would be an option for you. Please bear in mind you would be responsible for the return shipping costs.

i have a 25" waist, 36" hips, what size breeches?
Kim W on Aug 18, 2015
Best Answer: I''m tall and girthy. Wear a sz 14 in regular pants and jeans (Is it actually what once was a sz 16?) and bought a 36 Long. (Don't have a flexible tape for my waist at hand.) They fit very well. I'm happy, but I had been wearing 36L Tuffriders for many years before purchasing this last batch.

how do the white breeches look?
Mary G on Apr 13, 2015
Best Answer: I'm sorry, the manufacturer currently does not have a picture of the white breech other than the color swatch.
