Steve T on Dec 8, 2015
I have ailways like riding boots, real riding boots. Fashion retailers only carry a poor imitation of them. So I decided to do an internet search for equestrian ridingboots and it brought me to State Line Tack. Their prices are very competitve and the quality is excellent!

What are these boots made of?

Are they waterproof?
Clooze on Jan 10, 2014
Best Answer: I have been in water with these boots and mud and my feet stay dry... I don't know if they're 100% waterproof so I can not say for sure. I can say they are great boots and keep you feet and legs very warm!

Does fleece lining come out if need be?
Linda on Nov 4, 2014
Best Answer: The lining does not come out. The boots were an ok value. Don't count on them for many seasons, but they were a great first pair of winter boots. They look nice and were warm. Not the highest quality, though. Zipper did rip on the back but a $5 repair job did the trick. Satisfied with that.

How warm are these boots?
A shopper on Oct 10, 2016
Best Answer: I live in the mountains in Colorado and actually love these boots. I just wear a regular boot sock with them in the winter and my feet stay warm. They are not 100% water resistant, but they are pretty close. I've never had a problem with wet cold feet because of snow.

What type of material is this made of? synthetic leather or?
A shopper on Dec 23, 2015
Best Answer: Yes, it is a synthetic leather that looks good. The fleece is very warm. My only problem with them was they were too tall and interfered with my knees. My girl friend who's lower leg was longer than mine now has them and loves them & says they are warm & comfortable.

How are these to clean?, I don't know how stateline is going to email me back lol, but my email is

Just wondering how well these will hold up, I not only ride during the week but do all the barn chores as well n winters here in TN stay wet and bitter cold n muddy n gross. Thank you!!!
A shopper on Oct 22, 2013
Best Answer: I just purchased TuffRider Tundra Fleece Lined Boots just over a week ago. It has been about 32 degrees outside for the past week where I live. I have been riding as well as standing in the ring teaching and doing chores and my feet have been really warm in only a light weight sock. I was happily surprised at the quality for the price. I have been wiping the boots off with a damp towel when they are dirty. Everything here is frozen so I can't directly answer your mud question. Also, just so you know, these boots have a very heavy tread for snow/ice on the bottom. If you are riding young horses or feel like you don't want to be "locked in the irons" you may want to be in a different boot.

Does the foot size run true or a bit large?
Is the calf measurement accurate, or a bit tighter?
Meg O on Dec 15, 2014
Best Answer: Hello Meg,
I will say these run small. I think without the fleece they would be true but the fleece takes a lot of space. They are comfy as all according to my daughter but I could not put my feet in them lol!!

My foot is wide - A little over 4 inches would these boots fit my feet? size 11
Lorin H on Sep 29, 2015
Best Answer: My feet are about 3.5" wide and there is plenty of room in them, so I would think you would be fine. Maybe just don't wear really heavy socks. These keep my feet plenty warm with even lightweight socks. Hope this helps!

are these true to size?
A shopper on Nov 23, 2015
Best Answer: Run a bit small. Normally I'm a 10 and the11 fits like a glove. Also find a little slimmer in the calf.
