I am a police officer assigned full time to a mounted police unit and I need breeches to train in so that I don't ruin my actual uniform breeches. We also train/ride year round and it gets pretty cold here. I wanted to try these as my cold weather apparel. I can't wait to see how they feel.

I ride all year in the Tuff Rider ribbed knee patch breeches. They are comfortable to ride in and hold up well for the price. I decided to try the winter ones. Also, these are one of the few brands that come in 36 or 38 for the larger woman.
