This did the job it was described to do flawlessly...muzzle/around eyes on multiple horses, multiple times. It also did well for the light fuzz around the ears and for beginning clipper training. Don't expect a AA battery trimmer to trim anything else! Come on man...

I had a pair of these clippers 10 years ago that I absolutely loved and that worked great. I gave them to our local therapy program when I took a break from riding. I thought I was getting the same thing as before, but evidently quality has plummeted in the years in between, as the pair that I got were disappointing. They were VERY loud, got extremely hot, and stopped working after one use. Disappointing.

This is an awesome product! It is the perfect size for trimming ears! It is so easy to use, and can trim the muzzle better than big clippers. It's also good for training a horse around clippers, since it is quiet and small. In the other reviews, people say it can't trim bridle paths. Of course it cant! The purpose of this is to be a face trimmer, so don't buy it expecting for it to have the power of a $50 clipper. It is the best possible clipper to do the face and ears, though.

I've had these clippers for quite a while for trimming bridle paths, socks, ears, and whiskers ect.
Point is, they are a waste of time. They don't even cut anything half the time that you are trying to use them. Yes, they are inexpensive but it will save you a lot of time and frustration to just buy some more heavy-duty type of clippers.

I know these look all good because they are battery powered mini clippers for 20 bucks, but they are not. I got these to just do touch ups on my morgan gelding like bridlepath and whiskers. They DO NOT clip the bridle path at all and hardly even clip the whiskers. I would go with something more heavy duty that is rechargable (cordless around horses) these also get really hot and are'nt quiet. Its worth buying something more expensive and heavy duty you will get a better bang for your buck.
