·         Washing Instructions - Machine wash with cold water – Gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air Dry or Machine Dry/No Heat

·         Horses Turned Outside without Shelter - Turnout Sheet and Blanket materials are waterproof and designed to keep your horse dry, however if your horse is turned out in a field without a run in shed or shelter during prolonged rain or heavy downpours your horse may still get wet especially in the neck and tail areas.

·         When using a blanket or a sheet on your horse it is critical to monitor the fluctuating climate and temperatures even with a blanket that is waterproof and breathable. The wicking properties of a breathable blanket are designed to wick away normal body heat, when a blanket is too heavy the heat and moisture cannot be wicked away fast enough causing your horse to sweat. The temperature and the length of your horse’s coat will determine what weight of blanket you should use. For this reason, most people who choose to blanket horses have several articles of horse clothing that offer varying levels of warmth.

the high neck should help keep my pony as dry as possible
rebecca p on Nov 4, 2015
is the neck cover removable?
A shopper on Mar 6, 2016
Best Answer: No, the hood it not removable! Its a wonderful feature if your pony is outside in snow or rain as there are no areas for the water to really get in there. I actually have two different t/o sheets for both my guys. One with the high neck like this one and one with a regular neck for sunny days. Ive found with the detachable necks if it windy and rainy the wind will blow the base of the hood up and the water gets right in. Basically making the hood useless at keeping them dry in wet weather.

Is the neck portion attached or detachable?
A shopper on Dec 15, 2015
Best Answer: The neck portion is attached. It is a very well -made and attractive sheet that fits my mare perfectly. I was glad the neck was attached because I have another blanket for her without a neck and when this one is drying she can wear the other one.

Does this run true to size?
A shopper on Sep 13, 2016
Best Answer: It runs about 1 size large in length. It is long, which I like, but the neck opening is not too large. If you are going to put a blanket under this turnout, there is plenty of room! This is my favorite turnout for ponies of all sizes!

Does this sheet come in a 68? Does it run large or true to size? It is way to big on pony pictured.
Adriene A on Sep 14, 2016
Best Answer: Size 66 is the largest available. This style is sized generously, although unfortunately we couldn't guarantee a 66 would fit a size 68 horse.
