I have a WB Freestyle for my horse and it fits him better than the horseware blankets. I want to get an extra one to put away while it is on sale.

What temperatures is the medium meant for?
A shopper on Nov 23, 2015
Best Answer: You will get a lot of varying opinions on this matter, but here is a general guide. Your horse is the best indicator of if he or she needs a blanket, shivering and a clamped tail indicate cold stress. Always check under a blanket, if your horse is sweating he is too warm-too hot is worse than too cold! Hope this helps.
Approximate Temperature Guide
45° F – Not clipped: no blanket; Clipped: light weight blanket
35° F – Not clipped: light weight blanket; Clipped: medium weight blanket
25° F – Not clipped: medium weight blanket; Clipped: heavy weight blanket
15° F – Not clipped: heavy weight blanket + hood; Clipped: heavy weight blanket, liner + hood
Below 10°F, Heavy weight blanket, liner + hood for all; add polar fleece for clipped

how to measure for a blanket?
A shopper on Oct 28, 2015
Best Answer: Measuring Instructions - Stand your horse as square as possible, measure from the center of chest around side of the body to the point of the horse's rump just before the tail. If you horse ends up measuring between sizes always round up to the next size to ensure full coverage.

What does WB mean?
michelle n on Feb 19, 2016
Best Answer: Stands for Weatherbeeta, can't go wrong with this blanket, fits great, great coverage, very durable, the ones
I have bought have lasted for years. My horses are turned out 24/7 and there is plenty of rough housing going on between the geldings and this blanket holds up to all of that. Is the only blanket I want to buy.
