I'm still not seeing an answer to the question, why is this particular set considered a training tool?
A shopper on Nov 18, 2015
Best Answer: The bosal knot is slow to take up slack, so rate or stop corrections are not sharp or sudden..............yet that same knot is very quick to release/reward. Also, the "swing" of the knot emphasizes neck rein cues and helps teach them more quickly. Any mecate set is a great training tool in these respects.
