The Weaver® ProTack Sliding Ear Headstall is crafted from heavy russet harness leather and finished with a four-step process. First, extra-heavy leather is double-stuffed for a “leadey” feel. It is then dipped in oil to add weight, dressed with saddle butter, and then hand-rubbed. The leather is soft, supple and weather-resistant while providing a broken-in feel and a classic look.

  • Doubled and stitched earpiece
  • Stainless steel hardware
  • Water tie bit ends
  • Made in the U.S.A.

Item Specifications:

Size: 5/8”

Rated 4 out of 5 by soft and supple Nice, soft and supple. Feels like a nicely oiled, broken in bridle. Only thing I don't like is the throatlatch strap is only connected at the ear piece making for an uneven fit. It would be better if it was a double ear or had some connection on the other side. I fixed it with an old ring of leather (strap keeper off a breast collar), lucky I had one that was the same color. I adjusted it so that it was the same position as the lower placement of the ear loop. Voila, throatlatch fits evenly now :) June 23, 2011
