Why did you choose this?
Statelinetack.com Store
Thought these were actually offset. They are not, but they are curved and after going round and round with customer service ended up using them. They actually are very comfortable and helped with knee pain. They look like they should cost you a fortune, but are inexpensive and extremely hardy. I get lots of compliments.

I made custom bling stirrups
carole p on Jun 7, 2016
These off-set stirrups with engraving look great BUT what happens when the leather on the foot part wears out? I've not found a listing for replacement leather insets - is there such a thing or do you simply go to a harness maker and get a strip of leather.
Sheryl A on Feb 15, 2014
Best Answer: I've not had to replace the leather "foot part" on my
stirrups yet and I've had them for 6 or 7 years (at least). I ride two to three or even four times every week, so my stirrups get used a lot. (We are team penners and ranch sorters and trail riders). Whenever I clean my saddle, I oil up that part of the stirrups and they are holding up remarkably well.

Are these a pair?
A shopper on Nov 6, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, these are a pair, and an excellent buy. These stirrups look great on the saddle, are comfortable
to use and just generally work well. We team pen, ranch sort, work cattle in the pastures and trail ride, and these stirrups are terrific.

What is the purpose for the offset??
Rebecca H on Sep 24, 2015
Best Answer: For me, the offset makes it easier on my knees, hips, and feet when reaching for the stirrup and riding. I've also read that cutters and reiners like them for fast stops and slides. I like the look and it helped me know which stirrup was left and which was right. I love these stirrups but I had a difficult time matching my leather and dying them was very difficult because I don't have much experience with that.

What is the purpose for the offset??
A shopper on Sep 24, 2015
Best Answer: Offset stirrups offer the rider an advantage in events that require hard stops and slides, such as reining and cutting. They assist the rider in placing their legs against the horse while keeping heels down. They are also a favorite for those who traditionally have knee or hip pain.

do these really make a difference in knee and joint pain?
A shopper on Jul 24, 2015
Best Answer: i bought them for looks but discovered they were very comfortable and I sat better in the saddle with them versus the original stirrups. Can't speak to specific knee or joint pain, but are very comfortable to ride in.
