Why did you choose this?

I trail ride quite a bit and the synthetic, rubber and rope girths have all given my horse a rub at some point. That has not happened at all with this fleece girth. It's easy to wash and has held up very well to all the use.

Have found these fleece padded girths don't rub our horses. The downside is they do catch burrs.

Price was right for a basic cinch

My current girth is too short, so I'm trying a longer one. I read some good reviews on this one, and like the idea of washable fleece, plus my horse's skin will be protected from the buckles.

Is this product for ponies or horses?
A shopper on Jan 22, 2016
Best Answer: 28in. is a smaller size. I have seen a suggested sizing of 30'-32" for smaller sized horse, 32'-34" for a horse up to 16 hands, and 34"+ for larger or draft cross. This also depends on horses condition and conformation (skinny, fat, barrel body or narrow). Lastly consider your saddle rigging length. All that in mind, yes I would consider 28" a pony size.

What approximat size cinch would my 15.2h foundation QH wear? She's a 46" in English girths
Ali.eventer on Sep 25, 2013
Best Answer: It depends on how big of a girth your horse has. Try sizing cinches using a couple of your friends cinches the next time you saddle.
