We use these reins to keep our horses from grazing when we have inexperienced riders. We clip it to the bit ring and loop it once around the horn. Works well!

how long are they?
A shopper on Apr 14, 2015
Best Answer: Fairly short but you can undo knots to customize. Worked for both our TB and our QH

Is this product good for barrel racing/working barrel horses?
A shopper on Aug 19, 2013
Best Answer: I would say so. They're about 8 feet in length, which is the average for barrel reins I believe. Good quality, too. Haven't used them much because they're a bit short for my horse's neck, bought them as an extra.
