I bought this headstall looking for a cheap headstall just to get away from the ones I currently have which drive me nuts! I just received it today and its gorgeous! It looks just as it does in the picture and all though it is a little stiff I just moved it around and played with it for a little while and it loosened up a little I have not yet put it on my horse but it was well worth the 20$ I paid for it!

I bought this to start a colt in so my nice headstalls wouldn't get beat up if something happened. The leather is a bit stiff out of the box, but I just conditioned it with leather new and it's very nice and supple now. It was a very light oil color, and my conditioner darkened it a little bit, so if you're buying it and hoping to keep it light tan, you might not be able to oil or condition it. Wide range of adjustment and a good sturdy headstall that still looks very nice.

This is by far my favorite headstall I have ever had! It is quick and easy, looks great on my horse, the light leather matches my saddle, and best of all it fits all my horses...from my 17 hand tb to my 14.2 Qh. I also have not had any trouble with it not fitting any bits, I have 3 bits that I use the most and they all fit great!

I just got this headstall, I really like it! It's not fancy, but it's pretty good quality leather (it was a little stiff, but just some condition and it turned out pretty nice). I like that's it's quick change for changing bits. My only draw back is that my tom thumb bit wouldn't fit. :P (I couldn't get cheek piece through the bridle part on the bit..) But I don't really care because I prefer snaffles.
Sooo... All in all, a great headstall for the price!!!
