Rated 4 out of 5 by Great bit This is a great bit. I like the way it gives a good gentle single by being split AND ported. My horses hate snaffle bits (so do I) of any kind and have never responded well to them, even as colts. They are both over 17 now and both much prefer a ported bit, I think they like the way they can lift it with their tongue and get it off their gums when riding, giving their mouths that comfort of not having it sitting on their gums all the time. This bit is the best of both worlds for them. I can give individual signals and they get the comfort they like. Great, Great bit. April 1, 2010
