My horse's tongue/gums got VERY cut up from this bit. The price may seem good, but the bit is overall not very good. I would NOT recommend this bit.

a perfect bit, 6/19/2010

this bit is very good to use for yong horses and its a good starter for them too my 10 year old gelding has never had a bit but i used this one and he did not do anything bad now one problem the joint of the bit is very small and i recomend u put this bit in a small horse or ponys mouth cause for bigger horses like mine they cant really feel it and do whatever other than that i love this bit :)

this bit is amazing! i just recentlly bought a 17.2hh TB gelding who is very temperd and strong,my guess he had a bad childhood. So i looked for a bit that would give me the strength to hold him. lol as he has bolted with me uncontrolible before. As soon as i put this bit on him i had all the control!
