What is the Wintec 500 Jump Saddle made of?
Best Answer: i think it's made of equileather, which is synthetic leather. That means that you can just wipe it off and don't need to use leather conditioner on it.
Is this saddle flocked or does it have the Cair panels?
Best Answer: Flocked panels.
Will any of these fit my 17.2 Percheron? He weighs about 1700 pounds and needs about an 8" gullet, maybe less. His back is very flat and he is very round. I would also need a VERY long girth. Will CAIR expand to draft size?
Wintec 500 Jump Saddle 17.5
Best Answer: Unfortunately without seeing the animal I would have a very hard time accurately assessing a good fit. However, it seems to me that he would more likely be a candidate for a Wintec Wide All Purpose which has a separate Wide Gullet system catering to the broader fellows.
In regard to your CAIR question, it doesn't quite work that way. CAIR Panels simply allow your weight to be evenly dispersed across the panels and in turn, your horses back. This alleviates pressure points that can be caused by the bunching/movement of traditional flocking. For more information on CAIR please visit: http://www.caircushionsystem.com/whatIsCAIR/index.htm. Thank you for the excellent questions! Have a great holiday!
