Is there a ring on it to attach a martingale?
A shopper on Sep 3, 2015
Best Answer: No metal ring3. There are 3 loops the width of the girth on the outside of the girth. I believe these are for attaching martingales or side reins. Hope this helps.

I am looking to get this girth but unsure about what size to get. I have size 30 or 32 in western what is that equivalent to you in these girths? thank you
Heather S on May 7, 2015
Best Answer: This is an English girth. If you use a size 30 or 32 Western cinch, you probably need an English girth in size 42 or 44, which would fit a horse approximately 14h to 15h.
If you already have the English saddle, place it on the horse's back along with the pad and measure from the lowest billet hole on one side, underneath the belly up to the lowest billet hole on the other side. This will give you enough room to tighten the girth.

If horse is 34 western girth what size girth for English ?
A shopper on Jun 9, 2015
Best Answer: If your horse takes a 34 Western cinch, you probably need a 48 English girth. This would be for a horse 15h to 16h tall.
You can also place the English saddle & pad on the horse's back and measure from the first hole on the girth billets underneath the belly up to the first hole on the girth billets at the other side. This will give you leeway to tighten.
