I needed something to add comfort to the saddle while jumping.

To help my old saddle fit my new horse.
Nelda G on Jan 12, 2014
I have a high withered, small shouldered horse and I recently purchased a soft saddle for her. I wanted a saddle pad that would provide extra support and help spread my weight over her. Reviews said this pad would be a good fit.

I love the Wintec brand, the price is great and I am hoping it will be comfortable on my horse.

Will this raise the front of the saddle on a low-withered horse? My horse travels downhill and I need a lift.
Marissa B on Jan 6, 2014
Best Answer: Hi Marissa,
Yes it will help raise the front of the saddle. I have a 25 year old horse that has a bit of sway in his back and this pad works great for that. It is only 1/2" thick so it can be easily cut for a custom fit. I use it on top of a regular english saddle pad and use an english saddle.

Will this fit a dressage saddle?
Patricia A on Feb 22, 2014
Best Answer: This may fit a dressage saddle but seems small to me. I wasn't thrilled with this and barely used it. Seemed small and stiff. Didn't seem like it would cushion more like seemed like the edges would dig in. Wouldn't but again. Would recommend spending more for sheepskin or even fleece.

will this work for western saddles also?
april t on May 13, 2015
Best Answer: I purchased the dressage pad meant for a dressage saddle. It should be wide and long enough for western riding but I would highly recommend the insert pads from thin line which I did purchase (front & back) is all you need to offer more padding and comfort. I absolutely love my pad and would not give it up for the world. I ride every horse in this pad (6 total) and not one has an issue. It has plenty of wither room.
