Rated 5 out of 5 by Love It!!! I love my comfort pad! It fits really good under my 17" Wintec saddle and provides support for when I'm jumping or doing flatwork! My horse is not sore and it provides enough rise in my saddle for his narrow withers. I would buy this pad all over again! Super easy to clean as well, a damp rag, wipe it off and you're done! : ) April 26, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Little Big? this is huge! it only fit under my grandmas 18 inch saddle! If you ride in a 16.5 inch saddle, dont buy this December 26, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice!! I got this for my high whithered horse and I love it! Its stays in place nicely and provides lots of comfort for my horse while im riding. Great for jumping and flat work. However, it is not two inches thick. Its more like half an inch thick. But it still does its job just fine. Im totally satisfied! October 1, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by great pad I have had this for 8 years now they are very durable for both flatwork, jumps, and endurance. They are a breeze to keep clean with a little dishsoap and water. Stays where you put if and keeps my high withered horse VERY comfortable. He moves out and is happy to go to work. May 31, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent hack for ill-fitting saddles My polo saddle doesn't quite fit my narrow, razor-withered Thoroughbred mare. This pad reshapes her outline just enough that she's happy and not sore during games. The pad is significantly thinner than it looks in the online photo, but it still does the job. It's unclear how long it will hold up over time (i.e. how much it will compress and lose its shaping abilities). May 25, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by great pad I tried this pad as a last straw, before breaking down and buying a $100.00 plus pad. I am so glad i did. This pad raised the saddle, evened it out and got it off the spine. My horse has never been so comfortable under saddle. He moved and gaited like I have never seen him do before and I have had him 8 years. November 20, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Comfort Pad I love this Pad all the time in my dressage saddle and it works great. May 17, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by good product I used this pad about 12 years ago for several years. It held up well, and was the only thing that would help a mutton withered mare built down hill fit in a saddle. It leveled out the saddle so you didn't feel you were slipping forward all the time. It worked well with it with several styles of saddles, including Australian, Western, and English saddles. It worked with a high- withered older horse as well. October 19, 2009

To help my old saddle fit my new horse.
Nelda G on Jan 12, 2014
I have a high withered, small shouldered horse and I recently purchased a soft saddle for her. I wanted a saddle pad that would provide extra support and help spread my weight over her. Reviews said this pad would be a good fit.

I love the Wintec brand, the price is great and I am hoping it will be comfortable on my horse.

Will this raise the front of the saddle on a low-withered horse? My horse travels downhill and I need a lift.
Marissa B on Jan 6, 2014
Best Answer: Hi Marissa,
Yes it will help raise the front of the saddle. I have a 25 year old horse that has a bit of sway in his back and this pad works great for that. It is only 1/2" thick so it can be easily cut for a custom fit. I use it on top of a regular english saddle pad and use an english saddle.

Will this fit a dressage saddle?
Patricia A on Feb 22, 2014
Best Answer: This may fit a dressage saddle but seems small to me. I wasn't thrilled with this and barely used it. Seemed small and stiff. Didn't seem like it would cushion more like seemed like the edges would dig in. Wouldn't but again. Would recommend spending more for sheepskin or even fleece.

will this work for western saddles also?
april t on May 13, 2015
Best Answer: I purchased the dressage pad meant for a dressage saddle. It should be wide and long enough for western riding but I would highly recommend the insert pads from thin line which I did purchase (front & back) is all you need to offer more padding and comfort. I absolutely love my pad and would not give it up for the world. I ride every horse in this pad (6 total) and not one has an issue. It has plenty of wither room.
